Job summary

Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join the Assertive Outreach Team, delivering OT interventions to people with complex psychosis across Leeds in community settings. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, providing assessments, group programmes and tailored interventions seven days a week.

The role requires HCPC registration, a driving licence, and the ability to engage flexibly with diverse service users.

Qualifications

• Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
• Experience of working with service users who experience complex psychosis.
• Ability to drive with access to a car for work purposes.

Responsibilities

• Work as a member of the Assertive Outreach Teams in providing occupational therapy interventions for complex mental health cases seven days a week.
• Utilise core OT skills in high quality assessment and treatment.
• Promote and facilitate a group programme.
• Act as a resource and advisor on available services.
• Contribute to and promote partnership working.
• Establish and maintain relationships with community teams/agencies within the statutory voluntary and private sector.
