Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join the Tailored Individual Care Team. You will undertake comprehensive assessments and deliver tailored interventions that promote independence, safety and wellbeing for our service users.

Working with families, carers and wider networks, you will identify practical solutions and enable participation in daily activities. A current HCPC registration is required and a DBS check will be undertaken.

Qualifications

• Recognised Occupational Therapy qualification.
• Current HCPC registration and eligibility to practice.
• Experience in social care or community Occupational Therapy setting.

Responsibilities

• Undertake comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments.
• Deliver interventions to promote independence, safety and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with families, carers and partner organisations to enable participation.
• Prioritise a varied and potentially high‑risk caseload with professional judgement.
