Job summary

Rochdale Council invites applications for an Occupational Therapist to join our Community Occupational Therapy Service in Rochdale. The post offers Grade 7 or Grade 8 depending on experience, with a salary of £37,563 - £48,738 per year. You will work with Social Care, Health and Housing to support residents at the right time.

You will be part of a locality team, with travel as part of duties and a commitment to helping people live independently through equipment and home adaptations.

Qualifications

• The Care Act 2014 knowledge is required.
• Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Work autonomously, managing a busy and diverse caseload.
• Deliver strength-based, person-centred assessments to residents across the borough.
• Participate in the OT Duty Team on a rota to ensure responsive support.
• Access guidance and support from Advanced Practitioner OTs.
• Contribute to the Practice Development Group, delivering training.
• Support independence through equipment provision and home adaptations.
