Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Learning Disabilities Occupational Therapy Team. You will contribute to specialist assessments and interventions in the community.

With Senior OT support, you will help develop skills in areas such as specialist seating, falls management and sensory integration. Experience with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs is essential to support service users in their daily

Competenze

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
• HCPC registered
• Member of professional body
• Member of special interest group

Mansioni

• Manage a caseload of service users with a diagnosed learning disability in the community.
• Undertake Occupational Therapy assessment with a designated caseload, addressing occupational performance and skills deficits.
• Plan and implement Occupational Therapy interventions (individual or group), using graded activity to meet goals.
• Monitor, evaluate and modify treatment to measure progress and ensure effective intervention.
