Job summary

NHS Highland is seeking a Team Lead for Community Nursing to provide professional and strategic leadership across Mull, Colonsay, Tiree and Coll. The role involves clinical leadership and operational day-to-day management for the district nursing team, driving patient-centred care and NHSH policy compliance.

The post-holder will work flexibly in terms of location to support other areas of team work within the Community Nursing service.

• Candidates will provide professional and strategic leadership in Community Nursing.
• The post holder will influence and drive forward Community Nursing to achieve patient-centred outcomes.
• They should have in-depth knowledge of Community Nursing, NHSH policies and care models.

Responsibilities

• Provide Clinical Leadership and Operational day-to-day management for the district nursing team.
• Support design and delivery of new models and pathways of care within the integrated team/services.
• Work flexibly in terms of location to support other areas of team working within Community Nursing.
