Job summary

NHS Scotland's Highland board is seeking a Team Lead for Community Nursing in the Inner Hebrides (Mull, Colonsay, Tiree and Coll). The role provides clinical leadership and operational day-to-day management for the district nursing team to deliver patient-centred care.

The post requires a first-level Registered General Nurse with a specialist District Nursing qualification; flexible working patterns are considered and base is negotiable, with mainland-based option.

Qualifications

• Must be a first-level Registered General Nurse.
• Must hold a specialist District nursing qualification.
• Experience in professional and strategic leadership within Community Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and operational day-to-day management for the district nursing team.
• Influence and drive forward Community Nursing to achieve patient-centred outcomes.
• Support design and delivery of new care models and pathways within the integrated team/services.
• Flexible working patterns and base negotiable; mainland-based option may be considered.
