Job summary
Hywel Dda University Health Board in Fishguard is seeking an experienced nurse leader to join the North Coastal Integrated Community Team. You will manage and lead a team of community nurses, delivering seven-day-a-week, patient-centred care to a large caseload of acute and chronic patients.
The role requires Registered Nurse with Specialist Practice Award in District Nursing (postgraduate), and the candidate should either hold or be willing to pursue a relevant Masters.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with Specialist Practice Award in District Nursing (postgraduate).
- Willing to pursue a Masters qualification.
- Must be registered with NMC (UK).
Responsibilities
- Accountable for management of nursing caseload and leading core nursing establishment.
- Provide professional nursing leadership with guidance in line with NMC standards.
- Provide expert clinical advice on complex issues and monitor activities per policy.
- Manage allocated budget and deploy nursing resources effectively.
- Address complex patient needs and family situations, including continuing health care packages.
- Collaborate with senior clinical/nursing leadership team and deputise for Clinical Lead Nurse when required.
