Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking an experienced Community Staff Nurse to join the Bellshill Locality Community Nursing Service. You will be a registered nurse with community nursing experience, delivering patient‑centred care with strong communication and clinical expertise.

The role includes weekend and public holiday work, with duties spanning assessment, planning and implementation of care programmes in partnership with patients, families and carers.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration.
• Experience in community nursing is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and use IT where required.
• Full UK/EU/EEA driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and implement programmes of care with patients and families.
• Deliver community nursing duties in line with NHS Lanarkshire policies and governance.
• Participate in Clinical Governance and continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues and partners to provide high quality care.
