Medacs Healthcare is recruiting a PIP Functional Assessor/Disability Assessor hybrid role for qualified nurses or allied professionals in the UK. You will perform face-to-face and telephone assessments, analyse evidence and write detailed reports within clinical frameworks.

The role offers hybrid working, predictable hours, and progression with site time and ongoing training. Applicants should hold NMC or HCPC registration and have at least 1 year UK clinical experience.

Are you an NMC‑

registered Nurse or HCPC‑

registered Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist ready for a change from frontline clinical work, but keen to continue using your expertise?

As a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor at Medacs Healthcare, you'll complete Personal Independence Payment (PIP) functional assessments to understand how health conditions affect everyday life. This is a non‑

on clinical role centred on clinical reasoning, analysis and report writing.

The hybrid working model combines home working with time at one of our assessment centres, offering predictable hours, long‑

term stability and a healthier work-life balance.

We offer a starting salary of

, which will increase to

at 12 months once fully accredited and working from a site a minimum of 3 days per week. Annual salary reviews thereafter, performance related incentives and overtime also available

What you'll do

• face and telephone PIP assessments in a professional and empathetic manner

What we're looking for

• Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist
• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions
• Minimum 1 year's UK clinical experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Confident use of digital systems (35 WPM typing speed)
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
• Experience in functional assessment or advisory roles
• Confidence in producing high‑
• quality written clinical reports
