Job summary

Essex County Council is recruiting Ugobus Drivers for Chelmsford on a permanent, part-time basis. The role offers split shift patterns with morning and afternoon blocks. Salary is pro rata for part-time hours, with a full-time equivalent up to £25,959 per year.

You will hold a D1 entitlement, work with diverse passengers, and complete required training, including MiDAS and First Aid. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be prepared for an enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications

• Hold a current driving licence with D1 entitlement.
• Experience working with customers from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive ECC minibuses to transport passengers safely and reliably.
• Complete enhanced DBS check and ECC minibus driver assessment; attend mandatory training (MiDAS, First Aid).
