Job summary

Jarrodean Healthcare Recruitment is seeking a Support Worker for a specialist Community Mental Health service in Worcester, West Midlands. The role offers flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends and sleep-ins, with a focus on person-centred care in home or community settings.

The salary is £12.82 per hour days / £13.65 nights, with an annual full-time equivalent of £25,100–£26,700. A driving licence and UK right to work are required; sponsorship may be considered after six months.

Qualifications

• At least six months care experience; some experience in a Mental Health setting is desirable but not essential.
• Flexible, adaptable, confident to work without supervision and calm under pressure.
• A current driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Commitment to a flexible approach to meet the needs of the service.
• Desire to work as part of a team and an organisation committed to person-centred care.
• At least nine months right to work in the UK status, without the need of employer sponsorship.
• Sponsorship may be offered with this post subject to six month probation, but you will need to have your own right to work status to commence employment.
• We are not able to switch sponsorship on commencement of employment.
• Staff Accommodation is not available for this role but we are able to help signpost to local accommodation options.
• Due to the nature of this work it can occasionally be occupational requirement that applicants are female or male.
