Job Opportunity: Band 6 Mental Health Professionals

We are offering a relocation package of up to £8,000* for eligible candidates relocating to join Cheshire and Wirral Partnership. Terms and conditions apply.

Due to promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for two full-time permanent Band 6 roles within our Older Adults Community Mental Health Team (CMHT).

We are a well-established, enthusiastic, and motivated team working with individuals experiencing mental health issues across Chester and the surrounding areas. We are seeking qualified professionals from mental health nursing, social work, or occupational therapy backgrounds to join our supportive, forward-thinking community mental health team.

Role Responsibilities
  1. Work autonomously within a multidisciplinary framework.
  2. Undertake assessments and coordinate patient care for those with functional and organic mental illnesses.
  3. Maintain a caseload involving ongoing assessments, care planning, risk assessments, and memory assessments.
  4. Conduct reviews and provide interventions to improve wellbeing and outcomes, signposting to other agencies as needed.
  5. Demonstrate excellent communication, report writing, and assessment skills.
  6. Have a sound working knowledge of mental health disorders and the Mental Health Act.
