Job summary

MVDA is recruiting a Mental Health Pathways Navigator in Middlesbrough, part of a new innovative team aligned with NHS long-term mental health strategy. You will work closely with TEWV, GP practices and voluntary sector partners to direct individuals to the right support at the right time.

The role focuses on recovery, equity in access, and coordinating across services to prevent unnecessary transfers, with a flexible, solution-focused approach and a commitment to compassionate support.

Responsibilities

• Help people, particularly those experiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges, access timely and appropriate support.
• Navigate community resources, health services, housing, welfare and social care pathways.
• Collaborate with TEWV NHS Foundation Trust community teams, GP practices and voluntary organisations to improve coordination.
