Job summary

NSFT is recruiting an Operational Manager to lead a community-based, recovery-oriented mental health team across Norfolk and Suffolk. The role supports implementation of a specialist service and requires collaboration with patients, carers, internal teams, and system partners.

The base location is flexible with hub locations across counties. You will monitor performance, drive quality improvement and ensure patient-centred care within budgetary constraints.

Responsibilities

• Lead a community-based, recovery-orientated mental health team ensuring resources are used within budget.
• Plan and develop the team to provide a person-centred approach with recovery focus.
• Exercise judgement in complex service delivery situations with day-to-day autonomy.
• Foster links with internal and external partners to deliver safe care for patients with complex needs.
• Monitor performance, quality, safety and service development in line with policies.
• Lead and support strategic and operational planning for specialist service areas.
• Ensure effective day-to-day management of operational and clinical services.
• Provide strong leadership to deliver high-quality, inclusive, patient-centred services.
