NHS Tayside is recruiting an experienced Community Mental Health Nurse to join the PALMS team in Dundee. The role provides specialist brief assessment and signposting within GP practices, working with other mental health and wellbeing services to support adults with mental health difficulties.

PALMS offers training, supervision, and opportunities to work with primary care services and universities. This is a permanent post, 36 hours per week, Band 6 salary (£43,231 – £52,679).

Responsibilities

• Provide signpost to self-management resources or third sector services and liaise with statutory mental health services as appropriate.
• Signpost and refer adults experiencing mental health difficulties to appropriate services within GP practice networks.
