Job summary

NHS Highland is seeking an enthusiastic Community Mental Health Nurse to join the Caithness Community Mental Health team based at Wick. The post is a permanent full-time position (36 hours) within service requirements, requiring a driving license and willingness to travel across the Caithness area.

You will carry out assessments, create care plans, implement care and conduct reviews, acting as a care coordinator where appropriate within an Integrated Health and Social Care Team.

Qualifications

• Registered with the NMC and able to practice within the code of conduct.
• Experience in community mental health nursing.
• Ability to travel across Caithness to undertake the role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assessments, care planning, care implementation and reviews as a care co-ordinator where appropriate.
• Work within an Integrated Health and Social Care Team.
• Collaborate with MDT and provide reflective clinical nursing care.
