Our vision is to deliver outstanding care and treatment. We believe our staff are central to this goal. If you have the passion, belief, drive, and talent to help us realize this vision, we would like to hear from you.

We understand that starting your first clinical role can be both exciting and daunting. To support you, we have established our Preceptorship Academy, designed specifically for newly qualified clinicians to facilitate a smooth transition. Through supervision and assessment, you will be supported to practice safely and build confidence during your first 12 months.

You will manage a caseload within a recovery-focused care model aimed at promoting independence and positive coping strategies. Collaboration with a diverse team of clinicians, support staff, psychologists, psychiatrists, and third-sector partners is essential.

We value involvement of Experts by Experience, families, and friends in care delivery and welcome candidates with experience in co-production. Our commitment is to continuous service improvement and high-quality care.

About us

Over the next five years, community mental health services will undergo significant transformation. Our teams will become part of a more integrated network of services, with clinicians playing a key role in driving these changes alongside primary and third-sector partners.

We prioritize staff wellbeing through regular supervision, reflective practice, mentoring, and other support mechanisms to manage the stresses of mental health work.

If you are a newly qualified nurse or a Band 5 with prior mental health experience interested in developing into a community mental health practitioner, please contact us to discuss development opportunities.

We encourage flexible working. We recognize that a healthy work/life balance benefits overall wellbeing and service quality. Please speak with us about flexible working options.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a defined caseload autonomously as a Lead Practitioner, delivering specific interventions for mood/anxiety disorders, psychosis, or complex emotional difficulties.
  • Conducting initial assessments and collaborating closely with referral coordinators.

We offer:

  • Regular line management and professional supervision
