Join a dedicated team as a Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse in Norwich, providing compassionate care to individuals with mental health needs. The North West Community Mental Health Team provides patient-centred and compassionate care to people in North West Norfolk with moderate to severe mental illness. Based at the Peddars Centre at Hellesdon Hospital in Norwich, we are looking for a caring and motivated Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse to join us.
We pride ourselves on teamwork and value working collaboratively to meet the needs of service users. Our team works closely with psychology, psychiatry, occupational health, and social work staff, fostering an environment where staff can learn from each other.
As a Band 5 nurse within the team, you will work with a defined group of service users requiring care coordination. You will have opportunities to develop assessment skills, deliver interventions, and manage medications.

When you join us, you will be supported in developing your skills and confidence in the Band 5 role, including a minimum two-week local induction.
We fully support staff participation in the Trust’s preceptorship program for newly registered nurses.
You will have a development plan tailored to your experience, strengths, and development needs.
We host regular reflective practice sessions, training days, and clinical and management supervision.
Our working days are Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.

Salary: £29,970 to £36,483 per year (gross).
