Job summary

ICare Group is seeking a Community Assistant for weekends in Stockport. You will deliver meals to clients’ homes, make wellbeing calls, and provide compassionate, reliable service while adhering to health, safety and privacy policies. This temporary role runs for 3 months with weekend shifts 10am–3pm.

You must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle, with the ability to travel across Stockport. UK insurance requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Have access to your own vehicle.
• Be able to travel throughout the Stockport area.
• Be willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if not already in place.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nutritious meals safely and punctually to clients' homes.
• Conduct regular wellbeing calls to check on clients and address needs.
• Provide friendly, professional service during all client interactions.
• Adhere to company policies including client privacy, health & safety, and food hygiene.
• Participate in team meetings and share ideas to improve service and delivery processes.
