Job summary

South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust is seeking a Band 6 Community Learning Disabilities Dietitian for a 12-month fixed-term post in Wandsworth. The role involves delivering specialist nutrition care to adults with learning disabilities across community settings, addressing health inequalities and promoting wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience in home enteral feeding (HEF).
• Strong background in learning disability and community nutrition services.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist nutritional assessment, intervention and support for adults with learning disabilities.
• Work autonomously within a supportive multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care.
• Collaborate with service users, families and care providers to understand and manage nutritional challenges.
• Contribute to service development, education, quality improvement and promotion of nutrition and wellbeing.
