Community Learning Assistant (Fixed Term until 19 December 2025) PKC12715

£18,951- £20,301

Various Locations in Perth & Kinross Council Area

We are recruiting for a Community Learning Assistant to provide support to Primary school pupils in the Perth and Kinross area.

This is a fixed term post until Dec 2025 for 27hr/week, term time only position.

In this role, you will assist primary schools to positively engage children and families in their learning by supporting their social, emotional and mental wellbeing. You will work closely with your allocated schools to deliver a range of targeted interventions and be able to evidence how the support has led to better outcomes forchildren.

Skills & Experience Required

As a Community Learning Assistant, you will be caring and compassionate with a holistic child-centred approach. Experience of identifying barriers to school participation and helping children to engage in a range of supportive activities is essential therefore you should also be able to establish effective relationships with children and their families and treat those we support with dignity and respect.

You must have a valid UK driving licence as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross.
