Job summary

Recovery Connections in Redcar & South Tees is seeking a Community Lead to oversee and grow recovery communities, coordinating a team of coaches, ambassadors, volunteers and trainees. The role focuses on lived experience, inclusivity and person-centred approaches to empower individuals on their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or related field.
• Level 3 qualification in Leadership and/or Management.
• Experience in recovery, health, social care or community settings.
• Understanding safeguarding, risk management and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen recovery communities across Redcar & South Tees.
• Support peer-led groups, clubs, projects and initiatives.
• Promote engagement with mutual aid and recovery networks.
• Facilitate recovery-focused groups and events.
• Support people to identify strengths, aspirations and opportunities.
• Encourage independence and use assets to access community opportunities.
