Job summary

Shaw Trust is seeking a Community Integration Officer to proactively engage with local community groups, authorities, Jobcentres and NHS services to grow eligible participants for the IPS delivery across West Yorkshire. The role involves travel across Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield and Kirklees, building referrals and engagement through community activity.

Qualifications

Experience of building effective partnerships and engaging with external stakeholders.
Confidence presenting information, promoting services and representing an organisation professionally.
Strong organisational, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with Jobcentre Plus, NHS services, local authorities and community organisations.
Promote the IPS service through presentations, networking events and targeted community engagement activities.
Increase awareness of the service and generate referrals by engaging with local stakeholders and underrepresented communities.
Support individuals to access the right services by assessing eligibility and signposting to appropriate provision where required.
Use data, stakeholder feedback and success stories to drive engagement, improve performance and maximise programme starts.
