City of Doncaster Council seeks three Stronger Communities Officers to conduct frontline, locality-based engagement and capacity-building work across the city. The role focuses on wellbeing, community safety and delivering programmes such as Stronger Families and Wellbeing.

It requires strong partnership skills and a driving license. Candidates should be experienced in asset-based approaches, able to work with Ward Members, and comfortable with delivering early intervention and prevention

Qualifications

• Experience in developing strong and resilient communities using asset-based approaches.
• Knowledge of community safety, wellbeing and family programmes is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a solution-focused approach.
• Understanding of relevant legislation and policy agendas linked to service priorities.

Responsabilités

• Deliver frontline, person-centred services across localities.
• Support asset-based development and community capacity building.
• Provide early intervention and prevention to reduce escalation.
• Collaborate with Ward Members and partner organisations to meet community needs.
