Job summary

Lincolnshire Co-op is seeking a Post Office Manager to lead a flagship community branch and deliver a broad range of services with exceptional customer care. You’ll inspire your team, manage daily operations, ensure compliant and accurate service delivery, and strengthen community ties through proactive engagement.

You will drive service standards, coach colleagues, and play a pivotal role in branch performance while maintaining a welcoming, well‑run environment for customers from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a Post Office or similar customer-facing retail environment.
• Strong leadership and people development track record.
• Passion for delivering great customer service and running a well‑kept branch.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to create a welcoming, supportive environment for customers.
• Own daily operations, performance, and service delivery of the Post Office.
• Deliver essential services including parcels, bills, passport applications, car tax and currency services.
• Coach and develop colleagues to build confidence and capability.
• Balance strong customer service with hitting branch targets and improving performance.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and the local community.
