Job summary

Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales is seeking a Community Impact Manager to work with charities and local partners to strengthen organisations and drive meaningful, community‑led change from our London office, with weekly travel across England and Wales.

You will manage a portfolio of funded organisations, providing tailored support and connecting them with funding, skills, volunteering and development opportunities to build capacity and resilience.

We’re now looking for a Community Impact Manager to join us on a full‑time, permanent basis. This role will require regular visits to our London office and occasional travel across England and Wales with overnight stays.

The Role

As the Community Impact Manager, you will work with charities, community organisations and local partners to strengthen organisations and drive meaningful, community‑led change.

You will manage a portfolio of funded organisations, providing tailored support and connecting them with funding, skills, volunteering and development opportunities to help build their capacity and resilience.

Building trusted relationships across communities and sectors, you will bring partners together, unlock opportunities for collaboration and ensure local insight and lived experience help shape our programmes and investment.

Additionally, you will:

• - Identify potential applicants for funding and offer pre‑application guidance

• - Support place‑based work in priority neighbourhoods

• - Gather and share local insight, evidence and stories

About You

To be considered as our Community Impact Manager, you will need:

• - Extensive experience of working alongside communities in ways that share power and lead to positive social change, gained through roles in the voluntary sector, local authorities, social enterprises or other community‑focused settings
• - Experience supporting community‑led organisations and charities to build capability, confidence and organisational strength, including providing practical support, coaching or development guidance
• - Strong partnership‑building and brokering skills- Excellent facilitation, communication and influencing skills
• - Confident and credible external representation skills
