Job summary

Leeds Building Society is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee the refurbishment of the Community Hub, from contractor appointment through handover. The role reports to the Property Portfolio Manager and supports community outcomes.

The 6-month Fixed Term Contract offers hybrid working, with emphasis on governance, budget control and stakeholder engagement to deliver project milestones and social value.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering construction or refurbishment projects from procurement through to handover.
• Strong planning and budget management with governance and reporting.
• Experience coordinating consultants, contractors and internal teams on complex builds.

Responsibilities

• Lead refurbishment of the Community Hub from contractor appointment through to handover.
• Manage project programme, budget, risks and changes, keeping stakeholders informed.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal teams for procurement and approvals.
• Oversee contractual, health and safety and governance requirements during delivery.
• Manage grant-funding requirements, preparing progress reports and expenditure forecasts.
