Location: Newton Aycliffe

Salary: £24,020 - £30,790 per annum

Job Type: Fixed Term Contract, Part Time

Waythrough is opening a new Health and Wellbeing Hub in the heart of the Newton Aycliffe community and is looking to appoint a Hub Co-ordinator. The Community Hub Facilities Co-ordinator will manage, operate, and maintain the community hub's facilities, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and organized environment for staff, volunteers, and the community.

The Co-ordinator will handle daily operations, coordinate events, oversee volunteers, and maintain the hub as a vibrant community resource.

About The Role
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
  • Report repairs to the Landlord or Premises Team.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff and external contractors for repairs and upgrades.
  • Work with community groups, organizations, and internal teams to schedule and facilitate events and activities.
  • Manage room bookings, ensuring fair and efficient use of spaces.
  • Set up and dismantle spaces for events, ensuring proper equipment and facilities are available.
  • Represent the community hub positively, fostering good relationships with users, partners, and stakeholders.

Note: The advertised salary reflects full earning potential; starting salaries allow for pay progression within the pay band.

We address poverty and disadvantage through mental health, substance use, housing, and related support services.
