Job summary

Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting Healthcare Support Workers to join our Community Nursing Team on the Isle of Wight. You will work as part of the Community Nursing Team, delivering nursing care in the community under the supervision of the District Nurse Team Leader.

The role requires a full UK driving licence with access to a work vehicle. We offer an HCSW induction programme of up to 6 months with a salary of 25,272 rising to 25,760 on completion, plus opportunities for

Job description

We are recruiting for Healthcare Support Workers to join our friendly Community Nursing Team on the Isle of Wight.

As a Community Healthcare Support Worker, you will work as an integrated member of the Community Nursing Team, providing nursing care for patients in the community under the direction and supervision of the District Nurse Team Leader.

The role of Healthcare Support Worker is fundamental to the success of Community Nursing Teams and we are looking for successful candidates who are able to demonstrate the competencies to perform at this level and to be the role model of the Trust's core values.

This post will be required to work at any of our localities as necessary.

For this role you are required to hold a full UK driving licence and have access to vehicle that you can use for work that has business insurance cover.

If you are new to Health Care we will place you on a HCSW induction programme to ensure that you are fully trained and supported to perform the role.

The programme will last for up to 6 months and during this period of training you will be paid a salary of 25272. On completion of your training period your salary will rise to 25760 as per the advert.
