North Sedgemoor PCN offers a Health Care Assistant role within the Community Investigation Hub, based at Burnham-on-Sea War Memorial Hospital. You will join a growing team delivering diagnostics, prevention and early intervention, aligned with new clinical pathways to support patients closer to home.

You will work within defined protocols, travel to multiple CIH sites and GP surgeries, and contribute to delivering high-quality, person-centred care across the network.

Qualificações

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is required.
• Proven phlebotomy skills and recent practice.
• Clear communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and infection control.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out phlebotomy procedures in line with local policy and training.
• Support ECGs, spirometry and other observations with accurate documentation.
• Administer vaccinations as required within competence and training.
• Maintain clean and safe clinical environments and follow infection control policies.
• Record activity in clinical systems and communicate with patients and colleagues.
