Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered General Practitioner to support regional community health and primary care services across Romney Marsh. This role offers flexible sessional work in GP clinics, ideal for GPs experienced in managing varied clinical presentations and urgent patient demand.

You will contribute by providing autonomous clinics, handling acute presentations, delivering routine reviews and supporting triage workflows, with a focus on safe prescribing and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner required.
• NHS Performers List eligibility required.
• Experience in community, urgent care or primary care settings preferred.
• Strong clinical reasoning and clear communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in varied environments.
• Valid medical indemnity and Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Run autonomous GP clinics within community health and primary care settings.
• Manage acute, chronic and minor illness presentations.
• Support urgent care demand through telephone triage.
• Prescribe safely in line with clinical policies.
• Complete routine clinical actions including results, follow-ups and referrals.
• Document clear and accurate digital notes.
