Job summary

East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) is seeking a Community Fundraiser to develop fundraising opportunities, engage supporters, volunteers and local organisations across Cambridgeshire & West Essex. The role combines community outreach with event participation and fundraising activity.

You will work with the Senior Community Fundraiser and team to meet regional objectives, maintain supporter records, travel as needed with a full driving licence, and attend occasional evenings or weekend

Qualifications

  • Experience in a customer, client or community-facing role.
  • Experience building and maintaining effective relationships.
  • Effective communication and listening skills.
  • An interest in the charity sector and community fundraising.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues and volunteers.
  • Full driving licence and access to transport to travel throughout the region.
  • Flexibility to attend occasional evening and weekend events.

Community Fundraiser | East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH)

Full Time | 37.5 hours per week

Part-time applications also considered (minimum 30 hours per week)

Join East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) and help support fundraising activity across Cambridgeshire & West Essex. Working with supporters, volunteers, community groups and local organisations, you'll help raise vital funds and awareness for children and young people receiving hospice care and their families.

Working closely with the Senior Community Fundraiser and wider fundraising team, you'll help develop fundraising opportunities, support volunteers, attend community events and provide a positive experience for supporters throughout their fundraising journey.
