National Centre for Social Research (NatCen) is seeking Field Interviewers in Aberdeen to conduct in‑home interviews across health, housing, transport, and daily life topics. You’ll visit local households, listen attentively, and record responses that inform policy and services in Scotland.

The role offers part-time hours (min. 20 per week), travel within the area, and comprehensive training. Prior field interviewing experience is helpful but not required; full training is provided.

Formación

• Strong verbal and written English.
• Valid UK driving licence and sole use of a car.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Class 1 Business insurance.
• Willingness to complete a DBS check.
• Reliable home broadband.
• Confidence using basic technology.
• At least 20 hours available per week (minimum 3 days a week).
• Flexibility to work across weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately record responses for insights used by decision-makers.
• Plan routes with practical support and travel around your assigned area.
