Driven By Us is seeking a passionate, results-oriented Community & Events Manager to join our team. This role will focus on driving community growth and engagement, while also planning and executing dynamic events that resonate with our audience and contribute to our organization's goals. You will be responsible for fostering a vibrant community, building strong relationships, and organising impactful events both virtual and in-person that help raise awareness, strengthen our organisation.

As a part-time member of our team, you will oversee community development, and manage events that align with our strategy and values. You will work closely with internal teams to create meaningful experiences for our members while ensuring smooth event execution and community engagement.

Community Engagement :

  • Develop and implement strategies to engage and expand the community, in line with the company’s objectives.
  • Manage and grow our community presence across our community platforms, including working with social media team.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages active participation and meaningful interactions among community members.
  • Monitor and respond to community inquiries, comments, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build relationships with key community members, nurturing loyalty and advocacy.
  • Track and analyse community engagement metrics, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Collect and synthesize feedback from the community to inform product, marketing, and customer experience teams.
  • Enforce community guidelines to ensure a respectful, supportive space for all members.

Event Planning & Execution:

  • Plan and execute dynamic, engaging events that resonate with the community and drive business goals, including virtual meetups, webinars, and internal/external events.
  • Coordinate multiple aspects of event logistics, ensuring events are delivered on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption.
  • Collaborate with sponsors, partners, and collaborators to strengthen ties and enhance event success.
  • Advertise and promote events across appropriate channels, ensuring maximum visibility and participation.
  • Maintain accurate records of event budgets, expenditures, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure the successful execution of events by handling last-minute changes or obstacles with professionalism and efficiency.

Communication:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, customer support, and product development, to ensure event messaging and community strategies are aligned.
  • Synthesize organisational messaging and brand identity to ensure consistency across all community interactions and event touchpoints.
  • Encourage cross-functional participation in community and event-related activities.
