Job summary

St Christopher's Hospice in London is seeking a Community & Events Fundraising Assistant to join our Fundraising team and act as the first point of contact for Community and Events fundraising enquiries. You will play a pivotal role in day-to-day tasks to support fundraising activities.

The role offers an introduction to fundraising income lines and opportunities to engage supporters, across the local community. Evening and weekend work is required, with occasional travel to Orpington.

Qualifications

• Passionate about charity fundraising.
• Good attention to detail and organised.
• Friendly, confident communicator.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for Community and Events fundraising enquiries by phone, email, post and in person.
• Respond empathetically and build relationships with supporters; ensure follow-up action is carried out.
• Assist in organizing Community and Events activities.
• Collaborate across the organisation to deliver a positive supporter experience and manage equipment/CRM records.
