Job summary

Millbrook Healthcare Group in Berkshire invites applications for a Community Equipment Technician to join the Theale Community Equipment Service Centre. The role involves delivery, installation and collection of equipment in customers’ homes and in care homes, hospitals and schools across Berkshire.

You'll load/unload heavy items, liaise with clients, and may service or repair equipment. A full UK driving licence is required; training is provided; on-call/OOH rota is included.

Qualifications

• Previous relevant experience is preferable; training will be provided.
• You must hold a full UK driving licence (minimum 2 years) with no more than 6 points.
• You must be able to load and unload goods, some may be heavy.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Basic DIY skills are advantageous.
• Previous van driving experience would be beneficial.
• This role includes Same Days and OOH rota.

Responsibilities

• Delivery, installation and collection of community equipment within people’s homes and associated locations such as care homes, hospitals and schools across Berkshire.
• You may also be involved in the servicing and repair of equipment.
