Job summary

Millbrook Healthcare Group in Plymouth is seeking a Community Equipment Technician to join our Community Equipment Service Centre. You will be responsible for delivering, installing, inspecting and handover of equipment to service users at their homes or other locations.

Required is a full UK driving licence (min 3 years) with up to 6 points, plus the ability to load/unload heavy items. Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential, with on-call flexibility expected.

Qualifications

• Previous relevant experience is preferable.
• Practical skills and mechanical aptitude are advantageous.
• Qualification in electronics or engineering would be desirable or evidence of applying these within a previous role.
• Full UK driving licence (minimum 3 years) with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to load/unload heavy items.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Previous van driving experience would be beneficial.
• Flexibility for on-call rota.

• Undertake pre-delivery inspection and handover of equipment to service users.
