Job summary

Chapter in Cardiff is seeking a Community Engagement Producer for a 12-month contract (with a three‑month probationary period). The role is 32 hours per week (0.8 FTE) with a hybrid model, based in the Chapter office in Cardiff and some home working where possible.

You will produce, manage and coordinate Chapter's community engagement programme, working with the Head of Engagement to deliver the Engagement Strategy effectively and inclusively to a high standard, with particular responsibility

• Oversee Peilot and the operational production of Reel Futures and other priority engagement programmes.

Contract: 12 months (subject to a three month probationary period), with the possibility of extension subject to funding

Salary: £31,000 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: 32 hours per week (0.8 FTE), including occasional evenings/weekends; TOIL applies
Location: Candidates will be based in the office at Chapter in Cardiff. We offer a hybrid model, which means that, when possible, you can also work from home

Purpose of role

The Community Engagement Producer will produce, manage and coordinate Chapter's community engagement programme, working alongside the Head of Engagement to deliver the Engagement Strategy effectively, inclusively and to a high standard.

This is a creative producing, project management and relationship-management role with particular responsibility for Peilot, the operational production of Reel Futures and other agreed priority engagement programmes, and community-led and co-created activity.
