Job summary

HEARTS Academy Trust is seeking a dedicated Community Engagement Lead on a fixed-term basis to help build strong links between schools, families and the wider community. The role involves travel across HEARTS sites and occasional events outside normal hours, with a pattern of 8:00am–4:00pm, two days per week (15 hours in total) including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain partnerships with businesses, employers, charities and community groups.
• Develop community, enrichment and fundraising projects that support pupils and families.
• Secure grants, sponsorship, funding and in‑kind support.
• Grow HEARTS alumni and volunteer network.
• Coordinate community events and stakeholder engagement.
• Support schools in involving community and lettings opportunities.
• Promote the overall profile of HEARTS and its schools.
