Join us as a Community Engagement Officer at Thirteen Group!

Role Overview

Thirteen Group is looking for a Community Engagement Officer to join our Employability team on a permanent basis.

Working as part of our employability service, you’ll support us in creating positive outcomes for people who are not in employment, education, or training, as well as those looking to change careers or find a new job.

Key Responsibilities

1. Engage with communities across the Tees Valley to promote our services
2. Promote the Thirteen Employability Service through community engagement
3. Develop and plan activities to attract new users
4. Conduct initial eligibility checks and support pipeline development for our Caseworkers
5. Represent the service at events, including evenings and weekends, collaborating with partners

About You

1. Creative, with the ability to develop diverse engagement activities
2. Experience liaising with community groups and partners
3. Comfortable working with economically inactive community members
4. Well-organized, proactive, and an excellent communicator
