Do you believe in the power of families to influence positive change in prison healthcare?

We are currently working with a leading national charity that supports individuals affected by the criminal justice system. They are seeking a passionate and committed Community Engagement Manager to help deliver the first-ever Patient and Public Voice service focused on the families of patients in London prisons.

This role will suit someone who is:

  • Confident in opening doors and building collaborative relationships
  • Passionate about amplifying underrepresented voices
  • Experienced in working across healthcare, criminal justice, or community sectors
  • Energised by working directly with diverse communities

What youll do:
You will work across London prisons to establish systems that enable families to contribute their voices and drive service improvement. Collaborating with multi-agency partners, youll ensure family input informs healthcare practices and drives systemic change within prison settings.

What were looking for:

  • Experience in community engagement or a related field
  • Knowledge of the criminal justice and/or healthcare systems
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • A belief in the dignity and potential of every person
