Are you enthusiastic and do you believe in the power of communities to effect change? Would you like to create positive change in the local communities of Richmond and Wandsworth boroughs? In this role, you will lead the councils’ ambitious programmes of community engagement, participation, and capacity building with residents and partners. You will foster strong relationships with residents, co-design engagement approaches, and support initiatives like the Community Ambassador programme and Community Conversations. As a representative of the Council, you will inspire trust, demonstrate active listening, and respond effectively to community issues and opportunities.
Community Engagement Manager
Salary: £49,939-£60,515
Type: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Richmond Civic Centre, Twickenham, London
Operational split: 80% Richmond, 20% Wandsworth. The role is based mainly at Richmond Council offices and involves community engagement activities. The closing date for applications is Tuesday, 6th May, with interviews scheduled for the weeks of 19th and 26th May.
