A London-based football club is looking for a Community Engagement Lead to develop community strategies and foster relationships with local stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a background in community relations and passion for making a social impact. This position requires strong communication and project management skills, as well as flexibility in working hours, including evenings and matchdays. The Role of theCommunity Engagement Lead
The successful candidate will play a central role in building and maintaining strong positive relationships between the Club and local community. This role will develop and lead the Club’s community strategy, including the community outreach programme, and act as the main liaison with Brentford FC Community Sports Trust (BFCCST) as well as ensure alignment between the Club’s wider strategic objectives and its community programmes.
The individual will work collaboratively with others within the business and closely with BFCCST to deliver the Club’s community strategy. In addition, the Community Engagement Lead will ensure the smooth delivery of key projects including the Club’s community outreach programme, support for charitable initiatives, supporting work on the Club’s social causes and efforts to ensure the club remains a good neighbour across all sites. The role will also identify and implement innovative ways to engage local and wider communities, helping to grow our fanbase.
