The Community Engagement Implementation Manager will play a key role in leading the delivery and coordination of community engagement activities as part of the Perinatal Equity and Anti-Discrimination Programme (PEADP), a national programme of work commissioned by NHS England to address racism and discrimination in perinatal services, being rolled out in 158 maternity and neonatal sites across England. The programme delivery is being led by the Observatory in partnership with Advancing Quality Alliance (Aqua), Inspiring Hope, and White Ribbon Alliance UK. Reporting to the Head of Implementation, the postholder will lead the delivery of PEADP community listening and engagement activities and contribute to the Observatorys wider community engagement strategy. Working closely with Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) leads, Trust community engagement leads, and community organisations across England, they will deliver activities using anti-racist and trauma-informed approaches. This work will deepen understanding of the experiences and outcomes of minoritised communities in maternity and neonatal services and inform improvements in care led by NHS senior leaders participating in the programme. The postholder will also work closely with the Senior Implementation Programme Manager to ensure operational alignment across the programme.,
