Westcountry Rivers Trust is seeking a proactive individual to lead community engagement for our CWE pilots, delivering on-ground workshops and events. You will recruit and mentor volunteers, build partnerships, and advocate for rivers through pledges and donations, while collecting impact data for funders.

You will collaborate with local communities and stakeholders, ensuring inclusive engagement and reliable reporting. Hybrid working with travel across the Southwest is involved.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering community engagement events.
• Experience working with volunteers or community groups.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
• Good organisational and IT skills, including Microsoft Office 365.

Responsabilités

• Deliver in-person workshops and events for diverse audiences.
• Help set up community crews and recruit/train volunteers.
• Inspire action for rivers through pledging, volunteering and donating.
• Build partner relationships and represent the Trust at events.
• Gather evidence of social and environmental impact for monitoring and reporting.
