Job summary

Westcountry Rivers Trust is seeking an Evidence and Engagement Officer to drive community engagement across East Devon, Dorset and Somerset. The role combines office work with field visits and regular travel to sites within the delivery area, supporting the CWE project and national water resilience initiatives.

Qualifications

Proven ability to plan and deliver community engagement events and workshops.
Experience working with volunteers or community groups.
Strong written and verbal communication, with clear reporting.

Responsibilities

Lead in-person community engagement events and workshops for diverse audiences.
Help establish community crews and recruit volunteers.
Train, supervise and support volunteers and community teams.
Build relationships with external stakeholders and project partners.
Monitor and report on social and environmental impact to funders.
