Westcountry Rivers Trust is seeking a dedicated Community Engagement Officer to work on the CWE project. The role involves delivering in-person workshops, building community crews, and inspiring action to protect rivers through volunteering and donations.

You will liaise with local communities, partners, and funders to monitor impact and report outcomes. The role combines fieldwork, data collection and engagement material creation, requiring strong communication, organisational and IT skills.

Qualificações

• Experience delivering community engagement events with volunteers
• Skills in producing engagement materials
• Fieldwork and data analysis experience
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
• Strong organisation and IT skills, including Microsoft Office 365
• Degree or equivalent in environmental science, ecology, geography or related field

Responsabilidades

• Deliver in-person workshops and events for people of all backgrounds
• Help set up community crews and recruit, train and support volunteers
• Inspire people to take further action for rivers through pledging, volunteering and donating
• Build partner relationships and represent the Trust at events
• Gather evidence of social and environmental impact for monitoring and funder reporting
