Job summary

Low Carbon Hub is seeking an Energy Systems Data Analyst to turn complex local energy data into actionable insights for community-led net zero planning. You will analyse energy, carbon and socio-technical datasets and support place-based energy action plans through robust, accessible analyses.

Working with project delivery and community engagement teams, you’ll help develop transparent methodologies, visualisations and data-driven indicators to monitor progress and maximise impact across

Qualifications

• Demonstrable ability to undertake energy systems data analysis.
• Experience with multi-source datasets and analytical methods.
• Proficiency in GIS and Excel for data handling and visualization.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative and spatial analysis of energy systems data for community planning.
• Support development of CAPZero methodology and place-based data approaches.
• Communicate analytical outputs to non-specialist audiences with clear visuals.
• Contribute to funding bids, monitoring, and cross-team collaboration.
