Job summary

Kent Enablement Service (KES) at Kent County Council is looking for a flexible, motivated Enablement Worker. The role is based primarily in Thanet and surrounding areas, with travel across a wide geographical area required.

A Full UK Driving Licence is essential; mileage allowance is provided and adjustments can be considered for disability. KES supports adults 18+ including autistic individuals and those with learning disabilities or mental health needs.

Qualifications

• Flexible, motivated and able to work autonomously.
• Good communication, computer and organisational skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence required; driving may be required across wide area; mileage allowance provided.
• Evidence of core values required for staff in Health & Social Care; willingness to pursue Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide short-term, outcome-focused support for up to 6 weeks.
• Help people reach their maximum potential in targeted areas of their life.
• Work across Thanet and surrounding areas with flexible travel; mileage allowance provided.
• Promote inclusive practice and person-centred support within the Kent Enablement Service.
