Job summary

NHS Forth Valley is seeking a Registered Nurse to cover a maternity leave within the Falkirk District Nursing Teams. The role is in Community/District Nursing and involves working across seven days with shifts Monday to Sunday as required by service needs.

Applicants should be on the NMC register and prepared to travel within the area, with induction and clinical skills training provided. This is a 12-month secondment offer for fixed-term maternity cover.

Qualifications

• It is essential that you are a good communicator and can demonstrate teamwork and autonomy.
• You must be able to travel as required within the service area.
• Registered Nurse on Part 1 of the NMC professional register.

Responsibilities

• Provide District Nursing care and home visits in Falkirk District.
• Work across Community/District Nursing with shifts Monday–Sunday depending on needs.
• Travel throughout the area to deliver patient care.
